Abstract

This volume presents the Persian translation of two modern Japanese plays, originally curated by the renowned scholar Donald Keene. The translation project was inspired and facilitated by the translator's colleague, Hassan Farzipour, a dedicated scholar of Japanese theatre.
The work represents a significant contribution to Persian literary and theatrical studies, making contemporary Japanese drama accessible to a new audience. It falls within the genres of theatrical literature, cross-cultural studies, and translation.
