At Damghan University Press, we uphold a robust and meticulous peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of the scholarly works we publish. Our process is designed to engage experts at various stages, promoting transparency, objectivity, and excellence in academic publishing.
1. Proposal Review by the Council:
Authors submit a book proposal, which undergoes initial review by our Council of experts.
If accepted, authors are invited to submit the full book manuscript.
2. Technical Editor Review:
The full manuscript is thoroughly reviewed by a Technical Editor.
The Technical Editor checks for plagiarism and overlaps, ensuring that main overlaps are below 30%.
A comprehensive report is submitted to the Editor-in-Chief for evaluation.
3. Referee Evaluation:
Upon a positive response from the Technical Editor, the manuscript is assigned to a minimum of three referees.
Referees assess the manuscript within one month, providing detailed reports on its scientific merit, methodology, and significance.
4. Council Decision:
The Council considers the referees' reports and collectively decides on the publication of the book.
In the case of acceptance, authors receive primary (scientific) acceptance.
5. Language Editing and Page Design:
The accepted manuscript undergoes language editing and page design processes.
A Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is assigned, marking the manuscript's scientific acceptance.
6. Galley Proof and Final Acceptance:
The final version is sent to authors for galley proof.
Authors review and approve the galley proof; any necessary corrections are made.
Upon approval, authors receive final acceptance.
7. ISBN Acquisition and Publishing:
The book is assigned an International Standard Book Number (ISBN).
The final, approved manuscript is prepared for publication and released to the public.
Throughout this comprehensive peer review process, Damghan University Press is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of academic excellence and ensuring the credibility of the scientific knowledge we disseminate. We value the expertise of our Council, Technical Editors, and Referees, collectively contributing to the advancement of scholarly works in diverse fields.
