Abstract

If you have a plan to study this book, you probably have a strong belief that regular physical activity is highly beneficial and are interested in gaining more information about how the body responds to training and exercise.
We decided to write a different type of exercise physiology book that focuses more on images, because we know that students and professionals active in the fitness field need easy and quick access to accurate and up-to-date practical information. This book is suitable for various individuals, from newcomers wanting to learn the principles of exercise physiology to professionals who have previously attended exercise physiology classes and obtained the necessary certifications but need to refresh their knowledge.
This book provides a simple and straightforward way to review the basic principles of exercise physiology and learn new material, and helps modify or design exercise programs and teach others the ability to perform regular physical activity. Whether the goal of exercise is weight loss or gaining strength, speed, or endurance, knowing the type of physiological response of the body to exercise stress is essential for all fitness professionals.
